Terms And Conditions
Last updated 5 July 2026
These terms apply to use of this website, service bookings and repair work carried out by Townsville Computer Man, a brand of Suburban Australia (ABN 24 550 297 597).
Website Information
The information on this website is general in nature and is provided to explain Townsville Computer Man’s services and its relationship with Suburban Australia.
Website content, including indicative service descriptions, should not be treated as a fixed quote or guarantee for your specific device or issue.
Bookings And Quotes
Booking a service call through Cal.com or the contact form does not create a fixed-price agreement. Devices are assessed and a quote is given before any paid repair work begins.
You may decline a quote at any point before work starts, in which case only any agreed assessment fee (if applicable) applies.
Free Collect And Repair
The free collect and repair service covers pickup and drop-off of your device within the serviced Townsville area at no additional charge; it does not include the cost of the repair itself, which is quoted separately.
Collection and drop-off times are arranged around reasonable availability and may need to be rescheduled from time to time.
Devices Left For Repair
Please back up important data before a repair where practical. While reasonable care is taken with every device, we are not liable for pre-existing data loss, hardware faults unrelated to the reported issue, or data loss arising from a fault present before the device was received.
Devices not collected within a reasonable period after being notified as ready may incur reasonable storage arrangements to be agreed in advance.
No Guarantee Of Outcomes
Some faults, particularly those involving failed storage, liquid damage or severe physical damage, cannot always be fully resolved. Where a repair cannot be completed, this will be communicated and no charge applies beyond any agreed diagnostic fee.
Recommendations and repair work are based on the information and symptoms available at the time.
Third-Party Platforms
Bookings are handled through Cal.com, a third-party scheduling platform, subject to its own terms and availability.
Where third-party parts, software or platforms are involved in a repair, they remain subject to their own pricing, licensing, availability and support arrangements.
Intellectual Property
Website text, diagrams, branding and downloadable materials remain the property of Suburban Australia unless otherwise stated.
You may view and use website content for evaluating Townsville Computer Man’s services, but you must not copy, republish or commercially reuse it without permission.
