Townsville Computer Man is back
2026-07-05
Townsville Computer Man started in 2008, went public with the brand in 2009, and spent years doing hands-on computer repair and IT support across the city — everything from family desktops to network support for larger operations based in the region. In 2016, general servicing paused while the founder took on a full-time IT career, though a handful of long-standing clients kept being quietly supported in the background.
That pause is over. Townsville Computer Man is relaunching as a brand of Suburban Australia, the same business behind Suburban Secure’s cyber security and technology advisory work. Computer and laptop repairs, Mac and Windows support, business IT help, and a genuine specialism in Linux and homelab setups are all back on the table, alongside a free collect and repair service across greater Townsville.
Booking a service call now runs through an online calendar instead of a phone tag game, and every repair is quoted properly before any paid work starts.
