Ubiquiti
A complete networking stack — access control, security, switching, Wi-Fi and point-to-point wireless — built to a genuinely enterprise standard, at a fraction of the price.
Ubiquiti’s UniFi range covers a complete networking stack under one ecosystem — Wi-Fi access points, managed switching, security cameras and access control, and point-to-point wireless links — all managed from a single controller rather than a pile of separate logins and apps.
Ubiquiti gear has a long history around Townsville. It was used heavily by the former Internet Solutions, previously based in Townsville City, and turns up regularly in local point-to-point wireless infrastructure built to link sites without running cable between them. It earned that reputation because it’s genuinely capable, carrier-grade equipment at a price point that isn’t reserved for large enterprises.
We configure and support the full range, from Wi-Fi coverage for homes and offices to managed switching and point-to-point links for properties or sites that need a reliable connection without trenching cable. We don’t install new cabling, and we’re happy to work alongside your cabler or installer. See network and Wi-Fi setup for how this pairs with a proper firewall like pfSense or OPNsense for the routing side of the same network.
For bigger projects, such as an office, school or multi-building site, Nick also offers independent UniFi network design and quote reviews, available Australia-wide. That covers planning access points and channels against the floor plan, keeping staff, guest and camera traffic apart, and checking a quote before you commit.
